A new area opens because your food lands there, not because you hit a published level. Nobody has published the Throw Power number each area requires. Ignore pages that print a fixed gate.
Route you can name
Recorded runs move through Forest, Savanna, Desert, Jungle, Ocean, Mountains, and Taiga, in that kind of order. They are destinations to aim at, not a promise that every throw spawns the sample animal.
| Area | Sample animal from logs | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Forest | Frog, Owl, Paw Pony, Horse | First landings after the base |
| Savanna | Zebra, Hyena, Giraffe | A cash step once Toast-range throws arrive, in session recaps |
| Desert | Jackal | The large early income example, once food can land there |
| Jungle | Koala on one route; Tiger in samples | Mantis Shrimp is also listed here by one sample page |
| Ocean | Mantis Shrimp on a different route log | The two logs disagree. Believe the area you personally reach |
| Mountains | Griffin, Gorilla | Late clip band, not a first-day target |
| Taiga | Bear, Caracal, Wolf | Later still |
Names that are not confirmed areas
One 15-zone article adds Winter, Prehistoric Forest, Deep Waters, Ancient Ruins, Mythical Paradise, Shadow Realm, Harvest Fields, and Phantom Harbor. Another write-up says Harvest Fields and Phantom Harbor came from a video's dialogue and should not be treated as the official names of the two Halloween maps. This wiki does not create those as areas.
The Halloween listing said "2 new maps, more food and animals!" and did not name the maps. A later teaser for an unnamed new map was described as a toxic green wasteland. Until the game labels the zone, call it the new map, not a guessed biome.
Prehistoric clips mention Triceratops and Mosasaurus. That is a landing description, not a confirmed world name.
What to do at the boundary
Throw on a full meter. If the food stops in the area you are already farming, train Throw Power or upgrade the bar. If it lands in the new area and only weak animals come, equip a better food. Then park anything that beats your current lowest slot.
